CENTENNIAL HOMECOMING PASS IT ON OPEN MIC
Administration Auditorium
Are you ready for the word? Pass It On! Pass It On open mic has been a staple of the New Orleans spoken word community for 15 years. The hybrid show has been an incubator for many of this city’s finest artists across the disciplines of poetry, music, and visual art. Named for the phrase often spoken by Xavier legend John T. Scott, the mission of Pass It On has always been to create a better situation for the next person. This special Centennial Homecoming edition will feature a community open mic and an alumni closed mic. The featured poet will be none other than University President Dr. Reynold Verret. Did you know our president was a poet?!? The event will be hosted by Pass It On leaders, including Ayo Scott ‘03 and Sha’Condria Sibley ‘02. We are seeking alumni talent in art, music, and poetry.
NEOPHYTE PRESENTATION
